Message from Mathias!

Just wanted to let you know that we’ve got the new song “The way I’m going” up on www.frankylee.com and www.myspace.com/frankyleeband! The second teaser from the coming album! For those of you who haven’t heard the rumours/news; this is my new band/project FRANKY LEE. Well, calling it just a project might sound strange as we are dead serious about it, as it’s a real band, and we intend to rock for many moons. Millencolin continues though so no worries about that.

Our debut album “Cutting Edge” will be out on Burning Heart Records in Europe late January 2007 (US, Australia and Japan release around that time to). Tracklist, exact release date and many more things to be presented soon.

By the end of November we’ll launch a videoclip for the song “The world just stopped” our first single from the forthcoming album!!! We’re also about to play some shows here in Sweden to warm up for real touring to come. On the 8:th of November we’ll support My Chemical Romance in Stockholm. Check Myspace or homepage for more dates and details.

The date for the fifth annual Millencolin Open Skateboarding Contest is set to march 2-3, 2007!

Millencolin Music Prize

The city of Örebro, Sweden have decided to start a prize in our name! The music prize is ≈25 000 SEK and will be handed out once a year to a person, artist, band, booker, club, composer from Örebro. The winner will be nominated by the public through Nerikes Allehanda and the winner will then be picked by Millencolin and and a couple of more persons in a jury.

Thanks everybody who showed up our shows on the Kingwood World Tour! The touring of this album is over for now. We really had a great time and playing live have never been more fun! Can't wait for our next tour when we have a new album out! Now we are starting the work of a new DVD! Stay tuned for more info and maybe a new trailer in a month or two!
