Erik designed a new WeSC print with Millencolin
theme coming out first quarter of 2008! The
design will be out as Men's zip hood, men's
t-shirt, men's polo shirt, ladies' hooded
sweat, ladies' t-shirt and ladies' singlet.
The print comes in four color combinations.

As the first band ever (?!) we will have our
own signature headphones,
coming out February 2008, through WeSC.
The idea came up over a couple of drinks partying
at a club somewhere in Sweden. WeSC manager
David Hedman revealed the news about
their upcoming headphone collection for guitar
player Erik Ohlsson. They both immediately
agreed that Millencolin needed their own signature
model.
The Millencolin signature headphones got the
EQ custom set to "rock", which means
they deliver the clarity through out the high
end and mid range frequencies where
the details and energy in rocking guitars
stand out the most. The sound still got room
for lots of bass and will deliver one of the
fattest sound you've heard for heavy instrument
based music!
Erik, who designed the phones, instantly had
the idea for the design. The Millencolin
headphone features a rubber logo patch that
helps isolate the sound even further. The
design keeps both the WeSC and Millencolin
expression and a fresh street flavor!

RECORDING NEWS! Friday october 26
is the date when the recording of the new
Millencolin album starts! We decided to once
again work with Lou Giordano
who produced our Home From Home album. We
really liked working with Lou and we are looking
forward doing it again now! We will be recording
the album, like we mentioned before at our
own Sound Lab Studios in
Örebro, Sweden. The mix will take place
in Berlin, Germany toghether with Lou and
Michael Ilbert at Hansa
Studios.
Be prepared for studio-videos, pictures and
some other sort of diary!

We have hired a manager! Our very
close friend Kimmo who's
been our publisher at Burning Heart/Songs
And Stories for years, started his own management
company Big
Mouth Productions. Kimmo has
been working with both Nikola and Franky Lee
the past year and it feels great to (once
again) have him onboard the Millencolin machinery! |

The Red Weevil Festival in Spain we were supposed
to do this weekend 21/9 2007 is cancelled due to
economic reasons. The festival didn't get the moneysupport
they were supposed to get from their city.
Sorry about this, we really wanted to play in Spain
but we will try to get down there as soon as the
new album is released next year around March/April.

We are stoked to inform you that we are now
fully endorsed by Gibson
guitars! Erik will be playing
Gibson SG '61 Reissues and Mathias are now
playing Les Paul Standards. Be prepared for
a fat guitar sound from now on!

Big plans for 2008!
The recording of the new seventh
Millencolin album will begin november 1st!
We will be recording all the music and vocals
at our own Sound Lab Studios in Örebro,
Sweden, together with a not yet official producer.
The mix will take place at a different location.
Hopefully the album will be out early in the
second quarter of 2008!
A new design of millencolin.com and more exciting
stuff will also happen in 2008!
Two new festivals confirmed!
Alicante in Spain 21st of september and the
Snowboard Freestyle event in Zurich, Switzerland
the 22nd.

was shot with a pocket camera by the side of the
stage therefore the poor sound quality. The file
size is 19Mb.

"Ge Fan I Våra Vatten"
is a compilation cd with the Swedish rock-elité
where all the money goes to fish/water restoration!
Many of the band members got a genuine sport
fishing/angling interest. Erik from Millencolin
and Kimmo from Voice Of A Generation/Accidents
who are dedicated sport fishermen, came up
with the idea and presented the plan for Swedish
sport fishing organization Sportfiskarna (Swedish
Anglers Association), who are now releasing
this excellent compilation! Erik has also
done all graphic design for the cd and website.
Release date is may 18 and
can be pre-ordered together with an awsome
t-shirt from the webside from the april 26!

Norway July 26. We will soon announce
a couple of more festivals, but since we are
in the process of writing a new album, we
will only do a selected bunch this summer.

Anderas Skogmo and District 19 won MILLENCOLIN
MUSIC PRIZE 2006!
Millencolin Music Prize is recently
founded by the city of Örebro.
Local politicians saw one of our shows
a year ago and decided to create an
award in our name since they think we
are good ambassadors for our home town.
The prize of 25 000 SEK and a trophy
designed by Erik is handed out to a
artist, group, club or somebody who's
done something great for the music scene
of Örebro the past year.
The first winner of the annual prize
are Andreas Skogmo and his crew District
19 who keeps putting up great punk and
HC shows which really keeps the underground
music scene strong in Örebro.
An award is not an award without a show,
so the whole thing was celebrated and
handed out at a big party with Nikola,
Promoe, Durango Riot and Stellar playing
live at Satin Saturday night! Click

over! Thanks to everybody who came and checked us

rehearsing before we start the work of a new album.

What's happening right now in the Millencolin camp?
We got some time off from touring till late July.
So how do we spend this free time? Nikola
has just entered the studio in Gothenburg for a
recording of a new solo album.
Mathias is in our Sound Lab Studios
producing the legendary Swedish punk band
Asta Kask's new album! Mathias has also
recorded some stuff with a side project of his called
Franky Lee. Larzon
has also recorded new stuff with his crust band
Kvoteringen. Erik
is doing some various artwork and photography
and hanging out with his dog Colin. The Kingwood
World tour will end in August with some summer festivals!

We are back from the South American
tour! The trip was awesome! Thank you,

We are on tour in South America!
We just did our biggest show ever on
our own yesterday in Sao Paulo! 6000
people! Awesome! The Chile
show was absolutely amazing too! The
only bad thing about this tour is that
crappy Varig Airlines lost all our luggage
including: all our instruments, backdrop
and bags! So we have been borrowing
guitars and the rest of the equipment
from support bands. Thank you so much
for that! We are also kind of tired
of walking around in the same clothes
we wore when we left Sweden! Don't fly
Varig Airlines! Now we just arrived
to Rio De Janeiro! |

MILLENCOLIN OPEN 2006 is over! We
had a great weekend with a biggest Millencolin
Open so far! Congratulations Martin
Gustavsson who won the senior class
and to Jakob Nygren who won
the junior class!
It's time for the fourth annual Millencolin
Open Skateboarding Contest! The contest
will as always take place at our skatepark
Brädcentralen in Örebro, Sweden!
Friday 24 and saturday 25 February
are the dates.
We will, like always, bring you a
full weekend of skateboarding, parties, video
premieres, Swedish Skateboard Expo and live
music! This year we are proud to
announce that our friends in the legendary
band NO FUN AT ALL are doing
a re-union at the official Millencolin Open
party saturday night!

Thanks all the people that showed up for the Oslo
and Örebro shows! Especially the
Örebro show at Conventrum was amazing! We
filmed the show with four cameras so expect some
footage in the new DVD! (We are working on the
new DVD, but be patient, there are lots of more
editing to be done, so we are not even going to
mention a possible releasedate. Last time we did
that we said 2003!!!)
We are
out on the Antidote European tour right now! Just
left the UK. Thanks to all our great fans that
showed up there! Now we're in Barcelona and the

We just got home from the Warped
tour! Thanks to all our fans who showed
up and made the tour great for us!
There are stuff happening at the Millencolin
home quarters too. We have bought
Sound Lab Studios. Mathias
used to own the studio together with
our friend Mieszko Talarczyk who tragically
passed away in the Tsunami catastrophe.
Sound Lab studios are now our rehearsing
room and studio, but we will still rent
the studio to bands a few times a year.
The Accidents just finished the recording
of their new album there now.
We are also moving into our
new Millencolin Office these
days! The office is on the top floor
of the same building as the new Burning
Heart office and it's located in the
very center of Örebro around the
corner from the WE store. |

"Shut You Out" will be our next single
and video! We are going to Gothenburg this
weekend to shot the video. The single will also
include the new song "Ratboy's Masterplan"
which we've recorded ourselves at Sound
Lab Studios. The song will also be on the new Thrasher
Magazines upcoming "Skate Rock" compilation.
Dan Swanö,
the producer of our first three albums
(Same Old Tunes, Life On A Plate and For Monkeys)
are right now re-mixing those albums which
also will be re-mastered and re-released some time
in a close future in digipak packaging!
No additional music will be recorded, but there
are so much more that can be done to the sound these
days then when we recorded them. We have heard the
new mix of "Olympic" which is the first
song he tried working on and it really sounds great!
We
are headlining the Vans/Eastpak "Antidote tour"

Stockholm, Gothenburg and Örebro last week,
we had a blast!
Believe
it or not! In these stressful days with record releases,
interviews, photo shoots and touring we've found
the time to go into the studio again to record five
new songs! We don't know where these songs
might pop up, but most likely as b-sides or on compilations.

Our new album
"Kingwood" will be out in stores March 29, 2005!
US release will be two weeks later, April 12.
The album contains 12 energy loaded tracks that will blow
your ears off! The CD also includes the 50 minute studio
diary called "The Kingwood Days". The first
video and single from the album will be the poppy melodic
punksong "Ray", which will be released March
16. The single also include one unreleased track and the
song "Bullion" recorded live in Stockholm. The
Kingwood world tour is being booked right now!

be held at Brädcentralen, Örebro, Sweden February
25 & 26! Millencolin are together with WE,
Nixon, Vans and Eastpak presenting the third annual contest
at our skatepark Brädcentralen! Contest, live gigs,
parties, video premieres etc etc, is what's on the menu!
The Swedish skateboard elite together with European pro

OLDER NEWS... (From 2004)
We are now finally done with the recording of
our new album! We are really satisfied how it
came out! It's really hard for us to explain the direction
of the new songs, since we've lived with them for so long
now and are too used to them. But it's faster and less
rock-influenced compared to Home From Home. More punk
with melodies we're pretty sure you'll like!
We hope to get the record out to you in March next year! Check out some pictures to the right!

The response on the new site has been great!
Thanks! Some people seem to have a problem with the
menu though, so first of all our site doesn't work
with the Opera browser. If you got problems in Explorer on Windows
XP then you probably got your security level set to "high".
Try change it to "medium" under internet options/security.
No Cigar as polyphonic ringtone and a new theme to Sony Ericsson
phones are added in the goodies

Nikola's debut solo album out on Burning Heart
Records the 29th of March!
- Hi everyone! I am very excited and happy to inform you
about my first solo album. Last summer I entered Svenska
Grammofon Studion in Gothenburg to record something that
would eventually turn out as an album. Together with Henrik
Wind (the Peepshows), Thomas Falk (Bombshell Rocks), Mieszko
Talarczyk (Nasum) and some other friends and musicians,
I recorded 13 songs, of which 11 will be on the album.
Soundwise, the material ranges from Boogie-Woogie to Country
and Folkrock. I think the word love is mentioned in each
and every song, so If there is a "Theme of the album",
it's definitely LOVE. Otherwise I would say that the songs
are quite different to each other and a lot different
to what I've done with Millencolin. I hope you will check
