Where did you get your name from? - We got it from the word and the skateboard trick "Melancholy", but we changed it to Millencolin. Now it's just our name, which really just mean the four of us. (Millencolin is not a Swedish word) When will you come to my town to play? - Look at the tourdates section. As soon as we get dates confirmed we'll put them up there. What equipment (guitars, bass, drums, amps etc.) do you use? How do you get your sound? - Check out the membersections where you can read what sort of equipment every member of the band uses! In general, no one of us use any effects really. Nikola sometimes use a Sans Amp to add some distortion to the bass sound. Mathias and Erik use the tube distortion in their Mesa Boogie heads. Erik sometimes use a wahwah pedal for some solos and Mathias use a flangerpedal for the beginning of some songs like No Cigar. No one of us got the energy to sit down and write them down. When we decide to play someone elses song, we just listen to the song and learn it from listen to it. It's not that hard, sharpen your ears! Also look at other non-official millencolin sites. There are a lot of people who write down our songs. Can my band support you on your next tour? - This is a hard one to answer. We really want to help bands out. There are just too many asking. It's usually the club where we play who put on the lokal band. What's the meaning of the yellow bird? - It's just a bird Erik draw for no specific reason to our first demotape. It's been like a logo and a "mascot thing" ever since. Can I buy your old demotapes? - No, they were sold out -93. We don't have any copies left. Look if you can find an old Burning Heart/Pacemaker 001 compilation cd called "Signed For Life" with BHR bands old demotapesongs(we don't know were to find it). The cd were printed in 1000 copies -95. There are also one old demosong in the Hi8 Adventures video called "The Tame".
